Welcome.

The Wasatch Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament was organized to provide the opportunity for youth and teens to showcase and test their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Participants will have the chance to compete fairly and safely while experiencing the pride and excitement of what a real tournament can offer. All participants will go home with their own medal, and may even help their school win a trophy. We want our tournament to be a fun filled day for the entire family.

Spectators can entertain themselves at the Outdoor Fun Zone- bounce in a bouncy house or test out the velcro wall (adults too!)

A wide selection of food and beverages will be available all day at the food court next door – no need to leave campus to grab a bite to eat.

Background.

Bernales Institute of Martial Arts and Unified Jiu-Jitsu have partnered together to help support and encourage the local Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community by hosting our own youth tournament. Our students look forward to competing in local tournaments and we want to provide as many opportunities to compete as possible. This is our way of saying “thank you” to other tournament promoters and doing our part in promoting the art.
